Junior girls’ football in Northumberland will receive a boost for the 2018/19 season thanks to a new sponsorship deal between Northumberland FA and Wade Financial.

The financial planning company have pledged sponsorship for three Northumberland FA County Cups - Girls U16, Girls U14 and Girls U12 - and will receive the naming rights in each competition for the forthcoming season in return for their support towards the grassroots game.

Wade Financial have been supporters of local football for many years - from the Northern Alliance to West Allotment Celtic FC. The North Shields-based company are now delighted to be able to help support the Northumberland FA’s girls County Cups.

David Dodds from Wade Financial, who has two daughters who both play football, said: “This is another great opportunity to help support the growth of girls’ football in our local area and help build upon the excellent work being done by Northumberland FA in promoting the girls and women’s game.”
