The Local Football Facility Plans have been produced in partnership between the Football Foundation, local authority, sports clubs, schools and Northumberland FA.

The aim of the LFFP is to:

• Identify key locations for potential grass pitch investment.
• Deliver more quality playing opportunities through 3G football turf pitches.
• Improve changing pavilions & clubhouses that are linked to priority football sites.
• Through the Playzones project, offer additional small-sided facilities for recreational and informal play.
